PETS PUT THEIR STAMP OF APPROVAL ON

“PETALS FOR PETS”  PROJECT

The animals of the Lincoln County Animal Shelter, Oregon are finding a new supporter in the Florence Nature Art & Tile Co.

Owner Kat Cunningham, was recently alerted to animals in need, and the lack of funding to support upgraded animal care in a local shelter. With her company’s focus of reconnecting people to nature and wanting to give back to support nature, Kat known for finding the lemonade in used lemons, came up with a unique “green” project that supports all connected to it. “It is a true completion of a life cycle”, says Kat. The company project of giving back starts with people recycling their artificial flowers by donating them. They will then be creatively turned into beautiful aromatic boxed petals. A large part of the proceeds for retail sales will be returned to the animals for their care. What makes it sweeter is the donations will be made and acknowledged in the name of the donor’s present pet or in memory of a passed on pet. – In essence this project becomes Pets supporting other pets. Each box will list the pet’s name.

These boxes, silk bags or baskets can be found in our store. Plans for selling them for weddings, seasonal interiors, spa baskets, wholesale to shops, for parties and celebrations are underway. From whimsical Petal Parfaits, to Petals for Passion and even used for Bereavement Pet Ceremonies, these petal creations will find new homes while helping animals live a better quality of life. It start with you saving the landfill, we repurpose and recycle them, sell them for pets to have funding and you buy them as lifelong keepsakes for friends or for your home. The circle is then complete.
